- Twenty (20) Semi-Finalist Prizes: Enter the Sutter Home Build A Better Burger Recipe Contest 2022 at buildabetterburgercontest.com for your chance to win a $25,000 cash prize in the form of a check, or two (2) professional baseball game tickets in the Regional Semi-Finalist Cook-Off city on the dates listed in Section 3 and one (1) $200 pre-paid debit card for required burger ingredients.
If a Semi-Finalist lives within 300 miles of the Regional Semi-Finalist Cook-Off city, they must provide their own ground transportation to and from the event and will receive one (1) $200 pre-paid debit card to cover fuel, parking, toll tolls, and/or other transportation costs.
If a Semi-Finalist lives more than 300 miles from the Regional Semi-Finalist Cook-Off city, he or she will receive economy-class airfare for two (2) between Semi-home Finalist’s and the Regional Semi-Finalist Cook-Off city, as well as two (2) nights hotel accommodations (1 room, double occupancy) in the Regional Semi-Finalist Cook-Off city. Semi-finalists and their guests must travel on the same schedule. All other expenses not listed below are strictly the responsibility of the Semi-Finalist, including but not limited to ground transportation to/from airports, meals, petrol, parking, gratuities, and hotel incidentals. There may be room restrictions and blackout dates. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability, and approval by the Sponsor. Once a reservation is made, no changes or cancellations will be accepted, and no extensions or exceptions will be made. Before purchasing tickets, semi-finalists and guests must show legal identity. The rules of the airline apply. The trip cannot be paired with any other promotion, and it is not eligible for frequent flyer miles. Other limitations may apply. The award does not contain any alcoholic beverages. The guest of a semi-finalist must be at least 21 years old.
Each Semi-Finalist Prize has an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of $1,800, although the actual final value of the prize may vary depending on the point of departure and ticket availability at the time of purchase.
- Five (5) National Finalist Prizes: Each National Finalist will receive (2) nights of double occupancy hotel accommodations in St. Helena, CA, economy-class airfare for two (2) between the Finalist’s home and a Bay Area Airport (SMF, SFO, or OAK), entry to a welcome reception and dinner, breakfast for two (2) daily, reimbursement of a rental car for the duration of a two-night stay in St. Helena, CA, ground transportation for two (2) to and from all sponsored activities as needed, and (1) $200 pre-paid debit card. Both the finalist and the guest must travel on the same itinerary. All other expenditures not indicated herein, including but not limited to ground transportation to/from airports, meals, petrol, gratuities, and hotel incidentals, are completely the responsibility of the finalist. There may be room restrictions and blackout dates. All travel dates and arrangements are subject to change, availability, and approval by the Sponsor. - One (1) Grand-Prize Winner: The Grand Prize Winner will receive a cash prize of $25,000 USD. The Grand-Prize Winner will get a cheque for the prize. The cheque will be mailed three (3) to four (4) weeks after the date of the National Finalist Cook-Off. The Grand Prize Winner agrees to attend and participate in media interviews for up to one (1) year after his or her name is revealed.
The estimated retail value (ARV) is $25,000.
